EXPERT TUTORING WITH LITTLE BEES TUTORING

Hello, and welcome to Little Bees Tutoring! I'm Laura, a qualified primary teacher specialising in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage One (KS1) education. I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Years Education, and a post-graduate PGCE in Primary Education.

Since achieving my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 2013, I have been both an EYFS and KS1 class teacher, with some additional experience working with Year 3 children. My teaching experience also extends to class teaching roles as a supply teacher, a small group intervention teacher, and providing 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). 

After becoming a mum in 2022 and spending some precious time with my baby girl, I was buzzing with excitement to return to teaching and share my knowledge in a different way, through tutoring!
I worked hard behind the scenes to set up Little Bees Tutoring, creating a space where young children can thrive and discover the joy of learning. It's been a passion project that combines my love for teaching with the flexibility to be there for my little girl.
 

I am passionate about helping young children to learn and reach their full potential, by making learning fun and interactive. My focus is on building self-confidence, enhancing knowledge and understanding, and fostering a genuine love for learning.

If a child enjoys learning and feels comfortable in their learning environment, they're much more likely to want to learn and begin to show real improvement!

Whether your child is home-educated and needs additional tuition to support their home-learning, or maybe they attend school and require extra support to help boost their confidence and develop their knowledge and understanding; I am here to work with and support your child on their learning journey. 

I am DBS checked, have completed safeguarding and child protection training, and I am paediatric first aid trained, so rest assured your little bees will be in safe hands!
