Welcome to our Explore & Learn, Face-to-face sessions.
Join our face-to-face Explore & Learn sessions, designed for home-educated children aged 5-8! Perfect for young learners who love hands-on activities, each week brings a new and exciting theme that makes learning fun while building key maths and English skills in a playful way.
What to Expect:
Each week, we explore a different theme, covering subjects like maths, science, geography, art & craft, and coding. Our sessions are designed to keep learning interactive and exciting while helping children develop important skills in a supportive and relaxed environment.
Session Themes Include:
- 🌱 Science Explorers – Fun experiments and hands-on learning.
- 🧮 Fun with Maths – Playful activities like baking and crafts to develop maths skills in a fun way.
- 🌏 World Explorers – Discover different countries and cultures through geography-based creative and practical projects.
- ✂️ Art Explorations & Nature Creations – Art and craft sessions inspired by nature and re-creating our own art inspired by famous artists.
- 🗺️ Storytime Adventures – Immersive stories with creative and practical linked activities.
- 💻 Computing & Coding – An introduction to coding through child-friendly interactive games and additional computing activities.
Example Activities:
- Creative Crafts & Experiments: Hands-on projects that tie into the theme, like science experiments, nature-inspired art, or maths-based baking.
- Interactive Learning: Engaging games and activities that make learning maths, English, and more enjoyable for young learners.
- Storytime & Exploration: Themed stories that lead into imaginative, creative and educational activities.
- Coding Fun: Learn basic coding concepts through playful, child-friendly activities.
Small Group Setting:
With a maximum of 4 children per group, your child will benefit from plenty of individual attention, all while learning in a relaxed and fun environment.
Science Bees: Science Club
Science Bees is our online science club, designed to spark curiosity and help little minds understand the wonders of the world. Each Science Bees session is a journey into the fascinating world of science, guided by weekly themed topics that unite your little ones for enjoyable and interactive, hands-on activities.
What to Expect:
- Weekly Science Explorations: Join us every week as we delve into captivating themed topics, ensuring a fun, practical, and engaging experience for all our little bees.
- Aligned Activities: Each session is thoughtfully designed to align with the chosen topic, bringing the world of science to life through enjoyable, hands-on activities.
Exploring a Variety of Topics:
In Science Bees, we touch on a range of exciting subjects, including but not limited to:
- Plants: Explore how plants grow, conduct experiments and create, decorate and grow your own grass heads.
- The Human Body: Learn about and label body parts
- The Five Senses: Explore and experiment with the senses through hands-on activities.
- Materials: Scavenger hunts and investigations to understand the properties of materials.
- The Seasons and Change: Witness the beauty of seasons and understand how our perspective changes.
- Healthy diet for our bodies: Making healthy meals and experiments to explore the digestive system.
Science Fun for All Ages: Whether it's planting seeds, exploring the senses, or going on a scavenger hunt; Science Bees provides an inclusive space for all little scientists to learn, discover, and have a blast.
- Camera Choices: Your little bees can choose to engage with their cameras on or off, ensuring a comfortable experience tailored to their individual needs.

Creative Explorer Bees: Art, Craft and more!
Crafty Bees is not your typical online group tuition; it's all about embracing the joy of getting messy and expressing your artistic side! Our weekly gatherings focus on creating exciting and unique projects while providing a space for creativity and connection.
What to Expect:
- Weekly Creations: Join us as we explore new and exciting art, craft, messy play, cooking/baking activities together.
- Sharing is Caring: If comfortable, your little bees are gently encouraged to showcase their creations with the group.
Perfect for Little Ones:
- Unconventional Learning: Move away from traditional education and let your little one dive into the world of art and craft.
- Camera Choices: Your little bees can choose to engage with their cameras on or off, ensuring a comfortable experience tailored to their individual needs.
Example Activities:
- Artistic Masterpiece Explorers: Exploring famous artists and re-creating well-known masterpieces in our own way e.g Kandinsky, Andy Warhol etc...
- Dyed Tissue Art: Making colourful creations from tissue paper dye.
- No-Sew Sock Animals: Transforming your unwanted, or odd socks, into adorable creatures.
- Butterfly Feeders: Links to lifecycles and making a butterfly feeder for the garden.
