One-to-one sessions are for children aged around 4-8 years old.
This can be EYFS, KS1, or Year 3 level of learning.
The sessions will be 45 minutes face-to-face, and will take place at my home in Elsea Park, Bourne.
Price also includes brief verbal feedback for each session and a written overview of content covered at the end of each block of tuition.
Sessions can be scheduled for after-school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
The sessions will need to take place weekly and must be booked in blocks of 6 sessions (minimum). All sessions are paid for in advance.
The option to split a 6-week block payment is also available for an additional admin fee.
There may also be the option to book sessions during term-time holidays (dependant on tutor availability).
I will tailor each session to your child's individual needs and interests.
Teaching and learning is taken at your child's own pace, and they are supported at a level that is right for them. This will help to build their confidence and support them in developing their knowledge and understanding.
It is important to me that your child enjoys learning. I aim to achieve this by making each session fun and interactive, using a variety of activities during our tutoring sessions, to help keep our learning active and engaging.
Your one-to-one session can focus on Maths, English skills or Phonics (reading/writing).
Click here to see more information about the lesson content we can cover.
Each tutoring session will focus on one primary subject area.
If you wish to focus on two different subject areas, such as maths and English skills (writing/reading/phonics), we are unable to split one session between the two subjects.
To ensure quality teaching and learning time for different subjects, if you would like to focus on two different subjects, I recommend spending one block focusing on one subject and another block on the other. Then, we can alternate our subject focus for each block booking. This will allow for lesson continuity and learning progression. Alternatively, you may like to book additional sessions per week.
I am happy to discuss options with you to suit your child's needs, which can also include alternating our subject focus each week.
A trial session needs to be carried out before you book a block of tutoring sessions. I ask you to do this first so we can be sure that Little Bees Tutoring is a good fit for your child, before committing to a block of tuition.
Please contact me at info@LittleBeesTutoring.co.uk, or through the website contact form; to check current availability and to book and pay for a trial session.
